They Have All Types of Corn at the Fair!

Mommy and I went to the County Fair today with Auntie Michele, Uncle Kris and his mom, Auntie Val and Uncle Jon, Uncle Jason and Maria.  You may remember Michelle, Kris, and I survived Bushwick, Brooklyn a few months ago on my trip to New York.  Aunt Katie couldn't come cause she was back in New York taking care of Diego.  Here's the obligatory group shot.

So, apparently the fair is a place where you go and sample different types of corn.  Seems like you could do this at Whole Foods, but what do I know?  Mommy and Michelle got a bag of this stuff called popcorn.  I listened hard, and it didn't pop at all, so that was kinda disappointing. 

Then Mommy got this stuff called Corn on the Cob, and it looked really good.  Mommy kept it just far enough away where I couldn't grab it.  MOMMY!!!

 

 

Uncle Jason showed up later and told me all about bbq. They were having dinner at a place Mommy's daddy used to like but I didn't see them eating any corn.

 

Here Uncle Jon is taunting me with a cream puff. He loves him some whipped cream I tell you what. But don't worry Daddy, I didn't eat any.

All in all, the fair was a good time, and I look forward to going back, and sampling other types of corn. Bye.

But, Can't I Just Drink Milk For The Rest of my Life????

Mommy and Daddy have been trying to put this gunk in my mouth.  It's called cereal.  I don't like it.  Then, they tried these things called 'cados, they are green and mushy.  Today we tried bananas.  I'm not having any of this.  Until I can eat nachos and beer every day like my Daddy, I'm not eating.  That's that. 

Father's Day at the Beach!

Hi Everyone -

We asked my Daddy what he wanted to do for Father's Day, and of course he said 'Let's have a picnic at the beach', so we did.  We went down to a seldom used corner of Carlsbad beach, and had a ball.

Mommy and Daddy sat me in the sand for the first time, and I was fascinated by it.  Its like water, but its gritty.  I had it all over me by the time the day was done, and it was really fun laughing at Mommy and Daddy trying to clean it all off me.

TV Is The Most Awesomest Thing Ever

Mommy and Daddy don't let me watch TV much.  Sometimes I sit on Daddy's lap and watch Hockey or SportsCenter in the morning, but that's about it.

My Friend Stephen and I watched something called Monster's Inc. for a little while yesterday.  How did this film not win 9 Oscars??  I loved it, and as you can see here, I'm totally locked in.

I feel lucky that I get to watch a little TV now and then.  I have some friends like my friend Wyatt, whose parents are hippies socially concerned about TV viewing, and don't even own a TV.  How does he survive??  That's it for now.  Bye.

Gwyn & Stephen are funny

These are my friends Gwyn & Stephen.  We're staying with them and their Mommy and Daddy while we're here in London.  My Mommy went to high school with their Mommy, Viv.  It's so refreshing to have a friend whose Mommy doesn't have the same name as my Mommy, which for a while I thought was the case, as I detailed in this post from January.

We're coming home tomorrow.  I can't wait to get back into my crib, and see my friend Martha!

Still In London!

Hi Everyone -

I'm still in London, and Mommy and I have been running around like crazy!  It's been fun, but speaking of running, my nose has been doing something called running.  I have my first cold.  It's no fun.  I get schnots in my nose, and I cough a lot.  I'm reeeealy hoping it gets better, cause I'm already enough of a veteran traveler to know that I don't want to be sick when I fly!  See everyone back in the States soon!

Hi Everyone -

I'm in London.  We're in a town called Highgate, on the North end of London, and we're having a great time.  I have these things called teeth coming in - boy do they hurt!

I've been a bit fussy, but as they say over here, I'm trying to maintain a stuff upper lip - but its hard.  Who needs teeth, anyway?

Anyhow, here's a pic of me in front of something called a 'phone booth', which is apparently a place people would go to talk to their friends before my Daddy invented the cell phone.  Oh, my Daddy also invented the internet.  He's the man. Bye.

Baseball Looks Like Fun

Hi Everyone -

A quick note to let you know I have been to not only one - but two baseball games in the last couple weeks.  Baseball is fun to watch, but it scares me sometimes when the people yell really loud.  Daddy loves this game, so I'll bet I go to more baseball games soon.

Bed Bumpers Don't Hurt

Mommy & Daddy bought me these pads for around my bed, cause I was flailing and banging my hands into the bars awfully hard.  Here I am flailing away, secure in the comfort that it won't hurt a bit.  Thanks Mommy and Daddy!!
